MORTIS MK2

A layered continuation of the Mortis platform — preserving the same stripped, pale aesthetic while introducing a removable outer shell structure and modular construction.

The Dahlia MK2 — Mortis is cast in thick white Dragon Skin silicone and individually weathered by hand using layered black cosmetic detailing to emphasize surface cracking, depth, and deterioration. The weathering is semi permanent and is designed to wear and fade with time. It can also be washed off with soap and water to be repainted using any powder makeup, perfect for performers, artists or entertainers. Retaining the cold monochromatic appearance of the original Mortis, the MK2 configuration introduces a removable shell mask worn over the silicone base, adding a more constructed and preserved appearance without losing the raw identity of the piece underneath.

The shortened forehead and compressed upper profile remain present in the sculpt, giving the mask its recognizable degraded silhouette and hollow facial structure.

Each piece includes:

• Independent single elastic shell strap system
• Heavy-duty dual 1-inch elastic base straps
• Steel Chicago screw hardware
• Steel and rubber washer assembly
• Slightly shortened forehead sculpt variation

The removable shell is designed to sit over the silicone base mask as an external layer, creating a more fragmented and reconstructed appearance while still allowing the underlying Dahlia form to remain visible beneath. Being removable gives you the added benefit of switching between the two looks of the MK1 and MK2

Weathering intensity can be requested within reason through the order notes:

• Light
• Medium
• Heavy

The piece shown is finished in a medium weathering style. The outer shell mask is heavily weathered.

Due to the handmade finishing process, no two pieces will weather or age exactly the same. Variations in distressing, tonal balance, surface texture, and cracking are natural parts of the piece.
