A stripped-back interpretation of the Dahlia platform reduced to its most raw and skeletal form.

The Dahlia — Mortis Ver. is cast in thick white Dragon Skin silicone and lightly weathered by hand using layered black cosmetic detailing to emphasize surface cracking, depth, and age. Simpler in construction than later Dahlia variants, the piece focuses on silhouette, texture, and wear rather than heavy hardware or external shell components.

The shortened forehead and compressed upper profile give the mask a more blunt, degraded appearance ~ closer to a recovered specimen or damaged reconstruction than a complete face.

Each piece includes:

• Thick white Dragon Skin silicone cast
• Hand-weathered black detailing
• Heavy-duty dual 1-inch elastic strap system
• Steel Chicago screw hardware
• Steel and rubber washer assembly
• Slightly shortened forehead sculpt variation

Weathering intensity can be requested within reason through the order notes:

• Light
• Medium
• Heavy

The piece shown is finished in a medium weathering style.

Despite its simpler construction, each mask is still finished individually by hand and will carry natural variation in weathering, tone, distressing, and surface texture.

Designed as sleeker, more accessible entry into the Dahlia line while still retaining the handmade imperfections and preserved-organic aesthetic central to Morgue Studio.
