The second incarnation of the original Dahlia design, refined into a permanently fused two-part composition that blends soft silicone with a sculpted outer shell.

First sculpted in 2017, the Dahlia has become one of Morgue Studio’s most recognizable creations. What began as an experiment in combining layered materials evolved into a signature design that now lives in the collections of horror enthusiasts, musicians, scare actors, wrestlers, and collectors around the world.

Each mask begins as a thick cast of premium Dragon Skin silicone. A professional-grade platinum silicone chosen for its lifelike translucency, exceptional durability, and natural movement. Soft to the touch and remarkably resilient, the silicone flexes comfortably with the wearer while maintaining the realistic texture and depth of organic skin.

Once painted and finished, the silicone base is paired with a custom outer shell hand-sculpted from impact-resistant thermoplastic. Every shell is individually shaped to the casting, creating subtle differences in texture, contour, weathering, and expression. No two Dahlia masks are ever exactly alike.

The mouth is hand-stitched with steel wire, adding a raw, surgical quality to the design before the piece receives its final layers of paint and weathering.

A professional five-point harness completes the mask, built from heavy-duty elastic, top-grain leather, and steel hardware. Secured with Chicago screws, rivets, and a welded steel O-ring, the system is designed for both comfort and durability, allowing the mask to fit most adult head sizes securely.

The result is a fully wearable, one-of-a-kind sculpture. Equally suited for display, performance, or collection.
